By definition, a disaster is a sudden event that causes great damage or has unfortunate consequences. It is an unforeseen event that stops day-to-day operations and puts businesses into panic mode. Companies try to recover as quickly as possible and continue their services to clients, but none of that is possible without a disaster recovery plan put in place before disaster strikes.
